Overview

This much-loved biennial Festival will see more than 50,000 blooms transform Chichester Cathedral in a spectacular four-day celebration of nature and creativity.  The 2026 Festival marks a special milestone — its 30th anniversary. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience 66 floral arrangements, handcrafted by talented florists and flower enthusiasts from across the county. Since its beginnings in 1996, the Festival of Flowers has grown into one of the region’s most significant and best-loved events, attracting visitors from across the UK to experience its breathtaking displays and the Cathedral reimagined through flowers.  Visitors can browse through an exclusive range of stalls within the on-site Market, nestled in the Cathedral’s 600-year-old Cloisters. The Market offers unique products from a range of Sussex-based suppliers and businesses – from handcrafted floral arrangements, items for house and home, to local wine and produce. It will also see the welcome return after a four year hiatus of the much-loved Festival Plant Market. It’s a perfect opportunity to find that special gift or memento of your visit.  The delightful Cloisters Kitchen & Garden offers a broad selection of teas, coffees, cakes and light lunches within the tranquil Garden setting.

Please note this was originally advertised on 4 June but we had to change the date.
