Overview

The gardens were created by Lionel de Rothschild in 1919 and are still lovingly managed by the family today.  They offer woodland walks, world famous displays of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, art and sculpture exhibitions and a miniature steam railway that follows a scenic route through parts of the gardens previously inaccessible to the public (not included in price). More than 100 years in the making, Exbury’s glorious gardens, designed and curated by the de Rothschild family, have the power to delight and inspire in equal measure.  This spectacular collection of landscaped woodland, herbaceous, contemporary, formal and wildflower gardens provide an ever-changing palette of colour that will entice you back to witness the seasons unfold.  The Little Kitchen Company provides visitors with a variable menu based around quality produce and locally sourced ingredients.
