Overview
We begin with a panoramic coach tour of the Brighton area, with commentary by a Blue Badge guide. We’ll see the grand Regency Squares of Hove, the cute historic village of Rottingdean, renowned for its smugglers and artists, and spectacular views across the English Channel and the South Downs. We then have free time for lunch before we enjoy a short, guided walk in central Brighton. We’ll see the 18th century fishermen’s cottages in the Lanes, now buzzing with colourful shops and cafes. We will also explore the Royal Pavilion estate with external views of the incredible Royal Pavilion, the Regency gardens and the old royal stables, while hearing tales of the Prince Regent’s time in Brighton.
