Overview

We begin with time for lunch before we go to the museum. Take a ride through hidden tunnels and discover a unique piece of industrial heritage, then explore inspiring exhibitions packed with incredible objects, exciting stories and fun-filled interactive displays.   See the unchanged station platforms, deep below Royal Mail’s Mount Pleasant sorting office.  See and hear the people who worked on it, experience their lives below ground and glimpse hidden parts of the railway that once kept the mail coursing through London for 22 hours every day.  Discover interactive exhibits that bring to life more than 100 years of postal engineering.  Take in a theatrical experience that travels back in time to the railway’s lively 1930s heyday. The award winning audio-visual presentations will guide your way.
