Overview

In celebration of 50 years as your Leeds Castle we invite you to celebrate the grounds and gardens and uncover these spectacular sculptures along the way.  Enjoy the breathtaking artwork created by a diverse group of local and international artists. The sculptures will be placed in various locations throughout the grounds, with some hidden in unexpected corners and others hanging from the treetops above.  Queens’ with Means: Immerse yourself in the world of Leeds Castle’s seven historic queens.  Gifted, educated, cultured and intelligent conversationalists, these Queens with means were women born and raised to marry English Monarchs. Allow us to take you on an untold journey through Medieval and Tudor times.   Glide Into The 1930s Castle:  Leeds Castle has embarked on a new adventure with displays introducing you to one of the most sophisticated and enigmatic female owners of the Castle. Glide into the 1930s castle and return to the past in one of the most glamorous historic tours in Kent. You are cordially invited to the exotic and glamorous 1930s house party of Lady Baillie, the Anglo-American heiress who transformed Leeds Castle into one of the most desirable country houses of the 20th century.  Learn the story of her guests and of her staff preparing for the weekend ahead, where music, dancing and dangerous liaisons were the order of the day.   The Maze and underground Grotto will challenge and delight you.  During daytime hours, the Castle View Restaurant is exclusively for Leeds Castle admission ticket holders and accommodation guests. Take time out from exploring Leeds Castle and our enchanting grounds to enjoy a light lunch, afternoon tea or delicious homemade meal from our seasonal menu. Choose from hot or cold dishes, bursting with flavour and variety, or indulge in a choice of cakes and desserts, produced by our dedicated pastry team.
