Overview

LIMITED NUMBERS SEPARATE CHEQUE PLEASE. One of the oldest boarding schools in England. Christ’s Hospital moved from the City of London to Horsham in 1902 and is situated in 1,200 acres of stunning Sussex countryside. The School has over 820 boarding pupils with an equal number of boys and girls, and takes day pupils.  Suggest you bring a picnic lunch to eat on the coach as we arrive at Christs Hospital at 12.45 at the Wakefield Centre.  We then walk through the Quad and watch the School Band perform at Band Parade when all the pupils march into lunch.  After this we enjoy a guided tour taking in the wonderful paintings, buildings and grounds guided by the pupils themselves. At 3.00pm we enjoy a Full Afternoon Tea served in the Dining Hall before we make the short walk to the museum for a talk and tour on the fascinating history of the School. (Please note that the band parade does not occur if it is wet).
