Overview
Legendary TV and theatre actress, The Good Life’s Felicity Kendal; iconic film and stage actor Tom Conti; and Charlie Stemp, double Olivier nominated ‘Best Actor in a Musical’ for his roles in Half a Sixpence and Mary Poppins, will star in classic comedy Lloyd George Knew My Father written by William Douglas Home. They are joined by Robert Duncan (Drop the Dead Donkey), Eric Carte (Johnny English Reborn) and Elizabeth Carter (Rain Man, Dreamboats and Petticoats). When Lady Boothroyd hears that the authorities are determined to drive a road through her grounds she announces her intention to kill herself the moment the bulldozers start on their shameful work. At first disbelieving, the family at length realises to their horror that this is no joke.
