Overview
The Museum Depot in Acton is London Transport’s working museum store housing over 370,000 objects. Sights include rare road & rail vehicles spanning over 100 years, bus and rail sheds, signs, ceramic tiles, ephemera and ticket machines. A fascinating chance to see behind the scenes at The Acton Depot of The London Transport Museum. Lunch stop in Richmond on the way before a short drive to Acton for a 2 hr private guided tour. There are no refreshments on site so suggest you bring a flask for the journey home.
