Overview
This short winter break takes us back to the lovely City of Wells for a long overdue visit. England’s smallest City by virtue of the impressive 13c Cathedral. The City has remained remarkably unspoilt and has many other historic buildings including the moated Bishop’s Palace, Vicars’ Close, St Cuthbert’s Church and a good local museum. We will also take you to see the extraordinary sight of thousands of Starlings performing aerial acrobatics over The Avalon Marshes at Ham Wall RSPB. Staying at The lovely Swan Hotel in the city centre this will be a fascinating short trip
